Building an Admin Network for EdTech Coverage

As the pandemic brought everyone, ready or not, into 21st Century learning spaces, we ascertained that we needed an EdTech savvy admin network to be on hand for all meetings. This session will begin with an overview of the need for in-service training for educators and staff before trainees, critical decisions made by sections to have their admin staff take on Zoom duties, and lessons learned from the process. Next, we'll compare our solution to what other UC locations have done. We built an admin network for EdTech coverage in our department, which handles the tech aspect of the over 500+ Zoom meetings and webinars a year. Other groups found different ways to strengthen their institutions. Finally, we'll discuss how EdTech can support more robust education and results for everyone on-site or off.
