Quixari Ruffin is a digital transformation technology specialist with over 22 years of experience architecting and building secure infrastructure environments, Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery (BCDR) planning, and leading security initiatives by modernizing platforms (i.e. Azure, AWS, and GCP) while reducing cost, improving scalability, performance, and customer satisfaction through orchestration and automation.
Quixari started his career in aerospace at a company called Hughes Aircraft, which is now known as Boeing, while managing a team of IT professionals and securely deploying over 8000 new machines to their various secured facilities. From there he went on to companies like Staples to start their Tech Centers, Xerox to roll out their new line of all in ones, to TBWA|Chiat|Day also known as Omnicom, which is one of the biggest advertising companies in the world. He secured their network environments because they housed sensitive data for companies like Apple, Gatorade, and Pepsi and they needed to ensure that their marketing and advertising data wasn’t leaked before their products were released. He’s also worked with companies like Duke Energy (the largest consumer energy provider in the world), Alluma a prominent healthcare company, and TVGla a contemporary advertising company he helped these businesses securely migrate their on premise infrastructures to the cloud.
In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family while going on hikes, bike rides, walks in the park and watching the kids play sports on the weekends.
