Visit our UC Tech 2020 Private Virtual Suite for some virtual world socializing. Similar to Second life, but in a private version to simulate a work/conference environment. Pre-session preparation work takes approximately 15-30 minutes, to download the software and set up your avatar. Instructions to get setup for this event below.
Instructions to get inside the VirBELA Virtual World
The best way to experience VirBELA is to download the app and meet us in the virtual world.

Download the VirBELA app from https://www.virbela.com/install
- Choose an Avatar and "get dressed" and click save at the bottom right
- You will be teleported to the entrance of the Open Campus where we will meet you in the circle
Instructions for testing audio
Once inside the VirBELA Open Campus, you should be greeted by a Concierge. Additionally, depending on the time of day, there may also be a Concierge behind the Information booth.
- Unmute your microphone in the bottom left corner of the screen
- Confirm that you can hear them
- Confirm that they can hear you
If you are experiencing any audio hiccups, ask the concierge to help you troubleshoot on the spot. If they cannot hear you, click on the chat box on the bottom right hand corner to type your messages. Most of the audio adjustments can be made immediately. If you require additional assistance, please take an IT support ticket from the machine on the left side of the Information booth or email help@virbela.com.
Instructions for getting into the UC Tech 2020 Private Team Suite
- Join our Zoom meeting to the get the password for the Private Team Suite.
- Click on the "Go To" menu in the top right hand corner of the screen
- Scroll to the bottom of the menu
- Click "Private Team Suite"
- Enter the password (shared in Zoom meeting)
