As the UC system moved swiftly to a fully online and remote work culture, attention to remote best practices for UC organizations and teams was left to what remaining energy was available in an ad hoc fashion. This is a timely panel discussion with Dr. Michael Pfeffer, Assistant Vice Chancellor and Chief Information Officer of UCLA Health, and John O'Duinn, author of Distributed Teams: The Art and Practice of Working Together While Physically Apart and former U.S. Digital Services staff member in the Obama White House. The panel will be moderated by Vanessa Kaskiris, Supervisor and Senior Technical Manager, Research, Teaching, and Learning at UC Berkeley.
