Florgin “Flo” Dela Luna is a Los Angeles native and UC San Diego Alumna. Starting her UC tenure with UCLA in 2010, where she discovered her niche in Health IT and project management. In a whirlwind of events during the last quarter of 2018, Flo earned her Masters of Health Administration/Management from the University of Scranton, graduated from the UCLA Professional Development Program, and began her journey with UC San Diego Health Information Services.
As a Senior Project Manager under the Clinical, Applications, Rev Cycle, and Experience (CARE) vertical of the Project Management Office, Flo led complex, strategic projects that are planned and executed in a manner that supports the UC San Diego Health mission, and meets organizational objectives. In May 2020, she was promoted to Program Lead, in which she plans, governs, and oversees the successful delivery of COVID-19 (Health system response, Return to Learn Program, & CA Notify) IT projects and products for the clinical enterprise.
Flo obtained her Project Management Professional Certification in November, 2020 and is in progress of completing her Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. She is also a founding member of the UC San Diego's Pilipino/a/x Alumni Council, serving as its Operations Manager since its inception.
